Our Mission
Society of Eagle Ambassadors (SEA) seeks to provide support and guidance to students by encouraging successful completion of program goals and beyond. Through an established network of HCC faculty, staff, and student mentors, participants will have relevant and essential opportunities that will enhance the holistic student learning experience.
Who can join?
Current academic standing: freshman/sophomore
Current GPA: 2.5 or higher
Financial aid work-study award for the current and upcoming academic semester
Enrolled for at least six credit hours
Willing to wear professional attire on a daily basis
Why join?
Each student ambassador will be assigned a mentor.
Develop strong interpersonal skills: team-building, networking, customer service, time management, multitasking, Be the first to hear about networking opportunities, internships, job opportunities.
Valuable skills such as leadership, teamwork, customer service, and communication.
Become a peer-to-peer mentor.
Receive letter of recommendation from SEA coordinator.
Receive letter of recommendation from Dean of Student Success.
