Dear Neighbors,
Houston Community College is ready to provide the best in academic and workforce training for students starting or continuing their education.
Itβs our mission, as an open-admission, public institution, to offer affordable, high-quality education that provides a pathway for academic advancement and careers in an increasingly global and technological society.
We are proud of how our campuses are equipped with state- of-the art classrooms and labs that allow in-person learning with faculty and staff who care about each student. We also
have a team of experts ready to assist students β who may think college is unaffordable β with the tools to apply for and receive financial aid.
Technology support is also available
HCC also supports students with obtaining computers and internet access, including Wi-Fi hotspots available for checkout from the HCC Library. Discounts are available on the purchase of computers from leading manufacturers. The college also offers free use of software from leading companies such as Microsoft and Adobe. HCC campuses and outdoor venues, including college parking lots, are also equipped for wireless access to make studying more flexible and convenient.
Connecting with you
We are also striving to build our enrollment through dual credit academic programs for high school students, expanded workforce training in diverse fields, community learning classes for personal development and lifelong learning for those over 55. As we adapt to the current education climate, we are more flexible than ever before, offering online and hybrid courses to keep students moving towards the completion of their studies and the start of new careers.
So, why not take advantage of the more than 300 programs HCC offers or recommend HCC to students you may know? There are more ways to learn now than ever before β and enrolling is easy by visiting hccs.edu/fall2022. You can also call 713.718.2000 or email us at student.info@hccs.edu to get started.
See you soon at Houston Community College!
Respectfully,
Eva L. Loredo
