Why did you choose HCC Coleman College?
I chose HCC Coleman College because of its flexibility and wide variety of programs, allowing me to explore my options without pressure. I believe it is an excellent place for high school graduates to begin their college journey and build a strong foundation.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I was once scared of going to the dentist myself, so I chose the HCC Dental Assisting program to help ease that fear for other patients. This program’s focus on compassionate patient care and clinical skills equips me to create a more comfortable and positive experience for everyone.

What did you like best about your college experience?
I enjoyed being able to connect with various students of diverse ethnicities, ages, and life experiences. HCC fostered a unique environment where we all learned from each other while being at different stages in our personal and professional journeys.

What did you like best about your program of study?
I most valued the hands-on learning through labs and exploring various dental specialties within the program. I also appreciated the supportive community of instructors and peers who were invested in my professional growth and success.

When you were tired, what motivated you to push forward?
My mother was my biggest motivation. Even after she passed, the thought of her being proud and happy to see me graduate gave me personal strength to keep going.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Stay focused on your goals and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Manage your time wisely, stay consistent, and remember that every small step forward adds up to success.

How did your education change or improve your life?
My education changed my life by opening doors I never imagined possible, including a job opportunity that came directly from an internship through my program. Thanks to HCC Coleman, I am now in a place I never thought I would reach, both personally and professionally.
