I’m a single mother balancing school and family, committed to inspiring other parents to continue their education.

Talents or Hobbies, or Something People Don’t Know About You
I love problem-solving and finding creative solutions under pressure. It’s what makes me both a great student and mom.

Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College?
I enrolled at HCC Coleman College because I wanted to rebuild my life, provide a better future for my son, and step into a career that allows me to help others smile with confidence.

Why did you choose your program of study?
Dentistry combines science, care, and precision, all things I love. It’s a hands-on way to make a real difference in people’s lives.

What do you like best about your college experience?
The support system at HCC Coleman College has been life-changing. My instructors truly believe in me, and my classmates have become like family.

What do you like best about your program of study?
I love learning skills that directly translate to helping patients. Every day in lab reminds me why I chose this path. It’s about care, confidence, and compassion.

When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
My son is my biggest motivation. Whenever I feel exhausted, I remember that I’m building a future for us both and showing him that nothing is impossible with hard work and faith.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Don’t let fear stop you. Even when life feels heavy, keep moving forward one step at a time. Ask for help, believe in yourself, and never forget why you started.

Any final thoughts?
Be proud of how far you’ve come. The journey may be hard, but every challenge is shaping you into someone stronger, wiser, and ready to shine.
